NCFI Conference Discusses Care Farming In South West England
A conference offering policy makers, commissioners and referral agencies the chance to learn about care farming in South West England will take place in Exeter in November.
Organised by the National Care Farming Initiative, the conference is aimed at professionals in social services, health care trusts, mental health teams, education services and police and probation services.
The conference, which will be held at the University of Exeter on November 11, 2010, features keynote addresses from Sir Don Curry, Government Advisor on Food and Farming policy, as well as Dr Michael Dixon, chair of the NHS Alliance. There will also be presentations from care farmers based in the region.
